🌱 Counseling Services: Personal, Couple, Family & Group

Therapy That Honors the Soul, the Shadow, and the Sacred Process of Change

Offered by Brian Dees (Under the supervision of Dr. Gregory Williams)

🕊 A Message from Brian

Thank you for visiting Medi8or.

I’m currently completing the final requirements to become an Associate Licensed Counselor in Alabama, and I expect to be offering full counseling services soon. If you’d like to join the waitlist, please [Get in Touch].

When services begin, they will include the following offerings—each grounded in presence, compassion, and clarity.

💬 Individual, Couple, Family & Group Services Offered

Individual Counseling
For those navigating personal growth, stress, anxiety, life transitions, depression, or grief. A space where the Self can begin to breathe and be known.

Couples Counseling
Support for intimacy, communication, and trust—especially during times of relational rupture, stagnation, or reconnection. We’ll explore patterns, wounds, and possibilities together.

Family Counseling
Helping families foster healthier dynamics, honor generational wounds, and co-create a new rhythm of mutual respect and understanding.

Group Counseling
Facilitated groups where shared experience becomes shared healing. Learn, witness, and grow through the stories of others walking a similar path.

Community Counseling
Accessible mental health support tailored to the needs of groups, neighborhoods, and shared identity spaces. Healing, where it’s needed most.

🌌 My Counseling Approach:

I draw deeply from the client-centered wisdom of Carl Rogers, the symbolic depth of Jungian theory, and the embodied insights of Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing.

My aim is to create a space where your soul’s truth is welcome, your defenses are honored, and your own voice becomes your greatest guide.

I honor:

  • Emotional presence over performance

  • Your spiritual or existential experiences as resources for healing

  • Dialogue that welcomes the whole person—past, present, and possible

My favorite contemporary guide is Jeffrey Kottler, whose work reminds me that therapy is not about fixing—but personalizing the path of becoming.

🌿 Unique Integrations

As a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a background in domestic relations mediation, I understand how healing intersects with systems, families, and even the courtroom. If you’re navigating court-related dynamics (divorce, co-parenting, legal trauma), our work together can hold space for both emotional clarity and systemic wisdom.

I welcome all parts of your story: the confused, the angry, the exhausted, the inspired.

🕊 The Symbol of the Medi8or

Medi8or is more than a title. It is a symbol of the journey inward—a calling to mediate the sacred conflict within:

  • Between the Self and the Shadow

  • Between Woundedness and Wisdom

  • Between the desire to heal and the fear to begin

Whether you arrive here seeking help for external conflict or internal disorientation, this space honors both. Mediation is not only something I facilitate between others—it is something I practice within myself, and invite you to do as well.
